Creating Healthy Relationships

A Workshop for UVic Students

Everyone Deserves Healthy Relationships

Healthy relationships make you feel good about yourself and others.  Everyone deserves healthy relationships.

Healthy Relationships is a co-ed support group for facilitated dialogue and exploration of relationship issues and challenges.  You will have opportunity to raise awareness and consider effective approaches to themes such as boundaries, conflict, communication, sexuality and building trust, affection and rituals of connection.

Discussion will be open to issues relevant to varied types of relationships, including romantic partnerships, family, friends, roommates, coworkers, etc.  All gender perspectives welcome.

Group process will involve respectful and non-judgemental exploration of themes and exercises for reflection and dialogue.

A brief appointment with a counsellor beforehand to address any questions or specific needs/goals may also be helpful.  We will explore your strengths, beliefs, values, hopes, and dreams.  The focus will be on knowing and growing in relationships with yourself and others.  All UVic students are welcome to join.
