Many students new to university studies discover, after
receiving returned midterms and papers, that their
performance is lower than expected. While it is common for
students' marks to drop when making the transition from
high school or college to university, strategies can be
learned and applied to remedy this problem.
The workshop will present strategies that students can
apply to get back on track. These include active learning
methods, time management techniques, and cooperative
learning methods.
The 1.5 hour workshop is free. Handouts will be provided.
