Assertiveness is the expression of one's thoughts, feelings, and opinions in a way that respects oneself and others. Communicating assertively will improve your self-esteem and lead to healthier, more satisfying relationships. Assertiveness skills can be learned by everyone. During this group, we will learn how to express feelings, say no, make requests of others, give and receive feedback and deal with confrontation.
This group will provide you opportunities to practice and develop skills that will be useful in all areas of your life.

If we have sufficient interest in this group we will offer it as possible. To show your interest, please come to the Counselling Services and fill our a timetable to show us when you would be available.
