Assertiveness Skills Training

Assertiveness is a respectful expression for the thoughts, feelings, and opinions of others, as well as, one's own. Many of us grew up without learning or practicing asseriveness skills. Yet they can be learned. Not only will practicing assertiveness improve your self-worth, it will also lead to healthier, more satisfying relationships. In this five session group, learn to recognize barriers to assertiveness, deal with feedback, say no, make requests of others and deal with confrontation.

The group will meet weekly for six, 90 min sessions. Group size is limited to a maximum of twelve participants. There is no fee.
