Mindfulness-based practices increase clarity, attention and self-acceptance. Research has shown improved coping with stress and stress-sensitive conditions, including anxiety, depression, chronic pain and addictions in the mild to moderate spectrum. They can also help shift habits of avoidance and procrastination.
This 6 week group program provides opportunity for experiential meditation practice and tools for cultivating mindful awareness during the week. Participants work toward creating their own individualized mindfulness practice.
